May the taste be sweet

In the beginning it is easier to see what was right and what was wrong. In the beginning it is easier not to make a mistake. The test of time is the hard part when doubts set in, when beliefs start to fade. Where a person’s comments can destroy confidence that built up over the time. Where the doubts creep in, the focus gets distorted and that is when the lines get blurred. It is easy to carry on this way becoming vain and bitter or becoming so nervous you are unable to speak. Know that the difficulty lies in time, holding something together and carrying it through. Hesitating, stopping, doubting can all lead to failure. To move forward, now that is the skill and the gift. Learning with open heart and eyes is a trick we all must strive towards, because in the end what we have learnt is all we shall be left with.

May the taste be sweet.
